Thanks to everyone who visited six plus three, and made it the success that it was. Unfortunately, the powers that be have decided that they don’t want me around. However, six plus three will rise from the ashes very soon. Check back here for news. Thanks.
Paul.

SWEET! I’ve been staving off a heart attack since I got home from work yesterday!
I’ve registered the domain name, now I need to install some blog software to get going. Luckily I saved the entire site only a few hours before it was closed down! Stay tuned.
Paul,
I only made it to vol. 13 of Day By Day, after the wife & I had dinner last night, I was going for vol.14 and almost had a panic attack!!
Thanks for all of your hard work. I really appreciate it. I am a fan & a musician and really get a lot out of listening to these.
Thanks again,
John
Hey Paul,
You might want to check out Joomla.org It’s a more robust form of
software but free and extremely powerful. You’ll be able to do a lot with it.
Yeah, Paul, keep fighting…
I was downloading the entire Purple Chick’s edition of all the Beatle albums, but this has been left incomplete.
We Beatlefans will keep the buzz around until EMI decides to do something about the remastering of Beatles albums as they should. Until then, Purple Chick rocks.
Thanks for all, and I hope to hear from you soon!
Hey Paul,
Glad to find your message and wish you all speed in your efforts.
I also sent you a message through one of the other blogs that seemed to work last night. Not sure if you saw it.

All the best!
Hey Paul,
Oh my God thank you. I just found out about this site two days ago and planned to get everything. I only managed to get one album
. But anyway thanks and keep on fighting.
Thank you very much for your postings and megauploads. You rocked man!
Where can I find the remaining 7 discs of the complete BBC sessions?
Thanks again! (I really can’t thank you enough)
D
Paul
Many thanks for your efforts & hope to find you at your new home soon.
chris
Great news - I’ll be following you to the next site as well. Thank you again for greatly expanding my Beatles collection!
Don’t let ‘em get you down!
Paul,
I hope you’re able to get your stuff back on a blog soon. I was downloading your AB Road .flac files to replace my crappy .m4a files. Purple Chick rules but .m4a sucks.
Good luck getting going again!!
Paul,
YOU GUYS ROCK!!! Well, as you so put it. It is a guy. But, right now. You represent 25 guy by you having what you have here.
I agree. EMI Needs to do much more with the remastering of The Beatles Catalogue. I love how Purple Chick has done all of the recordings. Shows them just how they come to life in the albums. I am sorry, but with all do respect to the surviving Beatles. The Anthology just didn’t live up. Especially when it came to the White Album sessions. But, the Purple Chick White Album Deluxe is just perfect. I will be checking back here often. Until then. I have a question. Does anyone know why the hell Yoko Ono was talking during the some of the takes on The White Album Sessions? Thanks
Paul:
Best of luck in getting it back up and doing it again!
Dizzy
Just a quick note about Google’s cache … While Paul is getting 6plus3 back-up, you can search Google and retrieve cached versions of his blog pages. Example: search Google for “6plus3 abbey road” and it will bring up the hit. You’ll see where it says “cached”. So instead of clicking on the link which brings up the WordPress suspended notice, click on the “cached” and Google will display that page from its history. Try it out!
Hey, that works! Go for it guys, while it’s still there.
Question re Abbey Road:
Unlike all of the other PC Beatles discs, I’ve only been able to find a stereo version of Abbey Road. Is there not a PC mono version of this available, or have I somehow missed it somewhere?
There is no mono version with the PC set. Abbey Road was only mixed to stereo. There have been mono versions out there, but thet are all fold downs. Apparently the Brazilian version is the best.
Paul:
I suspected as much, but thanks for the confirmation. I was just curious to know for sure, in that there are PC mono versions of everything else.
And with respect to mono versions of the Beatles work, their first LPs, of course, originally came out in mono only and then were teased apart to create stereo versions later. Can you tell me which was the first LP to come out, originally, in a stereo version?
Dizzy
And then again, maybe I’m all wrong. My experience back in the 60s was in buying the albums as released in the states (Meet the Beatles, etc), rather than the English versions. And I just don’t recall ever having a choice of buying stereo versions of the first few LPs. All in could get (of anything by anyone, in fact) was in mono.
YAY… Paul isn’t dead after all!
But seriously… I thought the Blue Meanies had struck again. Lost JPGR and found your site… then THAT NOTICE popped up… arrrgh! Glad to see you’re still around… and will be watching for the new site.
I’ve been listening to PCs Abbey all week in the car. Even on it’s way less than hi rez system, that album & SQ just rocks me on the way to work!
Get Back to where you once belong!!!!
Yeah lookin’ forward to the new site Paul!!!
Cheers Andy.
any news on the new site?
bummp-ah-dumpa!
still no new site Paul?
